Outreach

Reaching Out to the Community

As a church, we know that we cannot exist primarily for ourselves.  Christ’s life and his gospel make it clear that having received love and forgiveness, we are compelled ourselves to offer love and the gospel to the world around us.  At City’s Gate we wish to do this by word and deed, and so our outreach ministry involves helping others in need, serving the communities in which we live and organically “loving our neighbor” all while seeking to live out and proclaim the gospel.  If you would like to learn more about outreach activities at City’s Gate, please contact Alec Nauk-Heisey who leads this ministry area.

We've planned a bus trip to the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky. We'll be departing NCF on Thursday, April 17 at 5pm and will return Saturday, April 19 at 5:30 pm. We still have some empty seats that we want to fill, so we're opening up the trip to others outside the church that have an interest on a first-come, first-serve basis. Would you please send an official invitation.
